Our Mission
Cascade Compliance provides independent consulting and verification services, promoting investment industry best practices that fortify ethical standards and transparent dialogue between investment advisors and investors. Kim Cash
Managing Member
CFA, CAIA, CIPM, CSCP
Kim is a veteran verification professional who brings over 23 years of investment operations risk management and consulting experience to every GIPS verification.
Kim’s career in finance began in 1995 working with one of the largest global providers of GIPS verification services. As Director of Verification Services, Kim oversaw hundreds of verifications and thousands of performance examinations, creating deep partnerships with individual firms to help grow their businesses while meeting their compliance objectives.
Now a recognized leader in the business, Kim is a regular speaker at national industry conferences. Her investment career includes training and empowering a generation of verifiers and leading client service initiatives for over 800 clients. She combined her Master’s degree in Education with her work experience to develop and teach national CIPM exam review courses and a CFA Level III exam review course on the GIPS standards. From 2001 to 2019, Kim also worked alongside principals from regional and Big Four accounting firms and CFA Institute staff to develop guidance for CPAs reporting on the GIPS standards.
Kim is also a Certified Securities Compliance Professional. Her other risk management experience includes working as a Chief Compliance Officer, consulting with asset owners on investment operations solutions, and leading operational due diligence examinations of hedge fund managers.
Outside of work, Kim likes climbing the Cascades with her husband, cheering on their five adult kids, and being ever-inspired by her life-changing service work as a member of Rotary International.

Tricia Bailey
Senior Manager
CIPM
With over 20 years of experience in the asset management industry, Tricia Bailey specializes in GIPS® compliance, composite construction, and investment performance analysis. She has led high-performing teams across multiple firms, overseeing both ongoing composite maintenance and firmwide GIPS® compliance initiatives. Tricia has managed numerous GIPS® verifications—including initial verifications—while also chairing firmwide GIPS® Compliance Steering Committees to align organizational practices with global standards.
Tricia was a client of Kim’s starting in 2004 when undergoing an initial GIPS® verification engagement. After 20+ years working for asset management firms (Wasatch Advisors, Waddell & Reed/Ivy Investments, T. Rowe Price), she joined Cascade Compliance in September 2025. As a Senior Manager, Tricia leverages her deep industry experience to help firms strengthen their GIPS® compliance programs, refine composite practices, and provide clients with confidence in the integrity of their performance reporting. She also contributes to Cascade Compliance’s strategic initiatives and serves on the GIPS® Interpretations Subcommittee with CFA Institute, supporting the continued development and clarity of industry standards.
Tricia lives in the Kansas City metro area and enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and gardening, as well as spending time with her husband and daughters.

Jordan Berger
Senior Associate
Jordan joined Cascade Compliance in July 2018, specializing in data analytics. He has supported the senior members of the team on dozens of verifications and performance examinations and developed curriculum on the GIPS standards for workshops and seminars. His experience spans a variety of investment strategies including equities, bonds, private debt, and currency overlays. Jordan is committed to promoting full disclosure and fair representation of investment performance results.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Oregon State University. When he’s not at work, Jordan is an avid cyclist, skier, and snowboarder who enjoys exploring new roads on his bicycle and heading for the mountains at the first sign of fresh powder.

Natalia Taylor
Senior Associate
Natalia Taylor joined Cascade Compliance in June 2022, specializing in investment performance and GIPS compliance. She began her career in 2018 as a consultant and verifier at ACA Group and later worked for a large institutional manager, where she led the firm's internal GIPS Committee, refined policies and procedures, and implemented scalable processes for composite maintenance.
At Cascade, Natalia combines her experience as both a third-party verifier and an in-house professional to provide clients with practical, actionable guidance. She oversees the firm’s training program for up-and-coming verifiers and supports a wide range of client engagements, from GIPS verifications and performance reviews to customized projects designed to each firm’s needs. She leads with a servant leadership style, prioritizing collaboration, mentorship, and empowering others to succeed.
Natalia holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Oregon University. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, caring for her collection of more than 100 houseplants, and baking sourdough bread.

Leif Smucker
Performance Analyst
Leif Smucker joined the Cascade Compliance team in 2021 to support the firm’s senior professional team. He works to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s verification procedures and brings years of client service to his client team engagements.
Leif earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Eckerd College in 2015 and has been balancing work and international travel ever since. Oh, the places he’s been!

Meghan Hill
Performance Analyst
Meghan Hill joined the Cascade Compliance team in May 2024 as a part time associate and transitioned to her full-time role as a performance analyst in August 2025. Prior to her endeavors in the compliance industry, she taught high school math and college preparatory courses for 13 years.
Meghan's years in the classroom have sharpened her ability to break down complex concepts, communicate clearly with diverse audiences, and foster an environment focused on growth and relationships. She is a seasoned leader, whose experiences have made her an asset to any client engagement.
Meghan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Sam Houston State University in 2011. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing board games, and spending time with her family.

Jeri Cash
Performance Analyst
Jeri Cash joined Cascade Compliance in June 2025 as a Performance Analyst, bringing a strong foundation in mathematics and education. Jeri holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Oregon State University and a Master’s in Education from Concordia University.
Prior to joining Cascade, Jeri spent a decade as a high school mathematics educator, teaching in both the United States and Kumasi, Ghana. During this time, Jeri also served as a Peace Corps volunteer, where she led community development initiatives, authored successful grant proposals, and organized public events to support local infrastructure projects.
Throughout her career, Jeri has cultivated advanced skills in leadership, communication, organization, and data processing. Her experience as a leadership teacher and event coordinator further reflects a commitment to fostering collaboration and driving meaningful outcomes.
Outside of work, Jeri enjoys volunteering, reading, and spending time outdoors.
